FI E/M HOOD FUSE 44 KEEPS BLOWING OUT on Civic 1997
I have Honda Civic LX 1997 i recently have bad battery so i changed and after i instllaed the new one my fi e/m fuse 15a under hood keep's blow out soon as i turn my keys in ignnation to start the car..

I have issue with battery the other day the battery light come on so i decid to took negative line off the battery to check for altenator if is bad. when i did that i saw couple sparks and car shut down .... i try the start the car but buttery was tottaly gone so i bought new battery and installed and since then i cant start the car because i found that time that my FIE/M fuse was bud and is keeping blowing up soon as i turn my keys..

The tests that you've done so far have isolated the electrical short to one of the 5 Yel/Blk wires that runs from connector C116 to either fuel injector 1, 2, 3, or 4 or the IACV (see circuit diagram). With the cap removed from C116, test each of those five wires for continuity to body ground using a multimeter. The wire with continuity to body ground has the short that is blowing fuse 44. Replace that wire or repair the short and the problem will be fixed.

So I want to make sure I understand what I need to do,,,,, so I need from my multimeter put negative (black wire) on body ground and positive (red wire) from multimeter put on connector c116 actually on each of those 5 black and yellow wires coming from connector c116 . To check for continuity???
This is the multimeter that I have is this going to work?
