Default Rear brake conversion on Civic EX

Hello guys,

before reply to me , you should know that i've been doing research on forums for this, but couldnt find my answer. So , please, help me out with this.
My car is a Civic EX , 1993 , and came with 10.2 rotors in front and drums on rear.
I made a drum to discs conversion using some CRX 1991 trailing arms, the calipers have this stamp on them : 7CLP13S. So this is what i have on the rear now.
I replaced also the prop valve with 4040 one, i have a new brake master cylinder 15/16.
I will mount on front a big brake kit from Wilwood, DynaPro 6 Big Brake Front Hat Kit , 12.19'' rotors.

I want to mount the existing 10.2 front rotors on the rear. What calipers i should use to fit my new 10.2 rear rotors and to be bolt on on my trailing arms?

What is not possible?
To fit 10.2 inch rotors on rear? Or to find some bolt on calipers for them?

Maybe other calipers to fit the 10.2 rotors with some custom brackets?

You can use Acura RSX rear calipers, and Civic EP3 4x100 rear discs.

I had that setup on my Del sol.

You question was to see if you could fit your previous front 10.2 rotors in the back, NO ITS NOT POSSIBLE. If you could locate 10.2 rear rotors and fit them in the back, could be possible but I haven't heard if someone did it or not. You can always pm brakexpert on that.

There are no factory calipers that will bolt up and work with those rotors. You could use front calipers, with custom brackets mounted on opposite sides but you'd have no provisions for a parking brake.

You can also use ITR calipers which are the same thing only you can mount them right side up and bleed them on the car.

Im wondering this also. Since im using the rear brakes from an integra (9.4") at the moment, I wanted to swap some front ex rotors (10.2") in the rear (just the rotor) and obtain an EP si bracket to mount the pads. Looking at brake experts chart on brake upgrades, it looks like it could work but I have yet to try it. Not trying to derail your thread but might be something to look into.

You can't run EP3 calipers with those rotors, they're vented and about 3 times as thick as what EP3 calipers are made for.

I don't any experience with the CRX trailing arms. But I would think they will fit if the trailing arm is the same as the EG, EK, DA or DC2

I see, I didn't know there was much of a difference regarding the rotor thickness. Thanks for clarifying it.

i personally would not want rotors that big on the rear in fear of possibly locking the rear wheels up as when you brake your weight shifts forward and the rear wheels get light causing it easier to lock up. Can I ask why you want such an aggressive setup. Im running ex front brake setup and integra on the rear with stock rotors and hawk pads all around and have to say it was a major improvement then before and all i use the stripped ej is for autocross. Pretty sure youll be more than satisfied with the wilwoods and integra rear brakes overall.
