Default Should i replace the rear main seal?

Car is a 2001 acura integra LS 5spd with 176k miles
I am preparing to replace the clutch on this car. I was buying some stuff off benardi acura and i needed to spend 10 more bucks for free shipping so i bought a NOK rear main seal for $13 bucks.

The car has 0 leaks other than some oil pan seeping. The drivetrain is bone dry everywhere! Should i replace the rear main seal? What's your take on this situation? I hear people say to leave it alone if it's not leaking but because i have the trans out, it might be a good time to do it. Keep in mind, car is 15 years old and has 176k miles
If so, any tips on removing and installing a new rear main seal?

me personally, i wouldnt touch it unless it is leaking. maybe if it is starting to leak replace it while you are in there. if you do replace it becareful not to fold the seal durring installation. i did that once and it was not fun fixing it the second time. boy it was frustrating knowing i screwed it up.

I would say if it's not doing anything just leave it it's one of these things that can bite you even if you replaced it with a new part, better left alone you're in CA not like you have to deal with horrid winters where things get all brittle.

Yea i would leave it, to properlly remove the seal the casing must be removed which involes removing the oil pan so you may as well replace the oil pan gasket and if you dont you might end up having oil leakes which is just a head ache so just avoid it and if it ever leaks in the future then do it.
