im almost done wiring the half cut rhd into a regular civic hatch (CX hatch 98
there are few wires in the RHD runner panel harness that goes to the back that are extra

anyone knows what other features the jdm civic type-r had that usdm CX didn't have

I already wired up the rear lights, defroster, licence plate lights, fuel pump and rear speakers
but theres about 5-6 wires that are extra
I will snap a pic later

2) dome light harness also had few extra wires besides the dome light wire

3 what needs to be done for the RHD door lock and handle. and where do I get the door lock mechanism with all the sensors etc

4) it looks like theres OEM keyless entry or oem alarm the door lock module has an antenna extending inside the door and its a one button remote with a big H button in the middle

 

Rear fog light and rear windshield wiper are two that spring to mind.

 

ok one thing I forgot is the front.

I don't know why theres no front harness ( could be that he only got a firewall and no front end)

what harness will work for the RHD core support
the usdm harness has a different plug I tried

Hold on, so you did a RHD conversion and cut up the RHD harness? What harness are we talking about here?

Technically, what I would've done would be to flip the LHD to the RHD and be done..but I've never had the pleasure of working with one though.

 

the RHD front clip didn't come with core support harness.
the one that has the headlights ac and radiator fan on it...
and the one we have from usdm civic hatch has different plugs on it.

are there 2 different harnesses for different years of ek civics? or hatches specifically
I only know integras and del sols. never worked with ek 96-00

JDM firewall harness
blue plug on pass side(jdm)
grey plug on driver side (jdm)


from the core support harness
driver side has 2 plugs one with 2 wires and other one I think with 6 or 8
and pass side has a plug with only 6 wires

 

Is there a difference between 96-00 civic years headlight harness?
