Default 96-97 Del Sol Front Bumper on 93 Del Sol?

So I bought an aftermarket oem replacement front bumper from ebay for my '93 Del Sol but it seems there are some imperfections that may affect fitment. And I don't wan't to risk loosing out on 90 bucks trying to modify it.

According to all those Honda-parts-for-sale websites, the '93 to '95 Del Sol front bumper is discontinued, but not the '96 to '97 one. So will it fit my '93 Del Sol? Thanks

Should fit, you'll just lose the aux lights.

I do like the look of the Del Sol without aux lights but it sucks that I can't have the original look of my car from the factory unless I use half-*** aftermarket parts.

Here's another question as it relates to the body of my car and I don't want to keep starting more threads. I bought a pair of aftermarket fenders made by Tong Yang and the fitment out of the box was terrible. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that and then a collision repair shop makes adjustments to make them fit good or what, but I'm contemplating on sending them back. My original fenders however don't look in too bad of shape and I was wondering if a collision repair shop would be able to salvage them?

I guess hosting pictures on here is screwed up so here's a link to another thread I made a while ago that shows the condition of one of my fenders (both are in the same condition): https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...amage-3266850/

Basically on the front of both fenders, the flat part that bolts to the top of the frame was squished into an acute angle when it should be a 90 degree angle. And the front tip of both of them are a little bent too. Can a shop bend them back into almost perfect condition? Or will I end up spending $500 on new oem fenders?

ive used Taiwanese aftermarket oem fenders MANY times. my guess is that your fitment issues are coming from your tweaked front end. pics with new parts on?

I didn't take any pics and I've already repackaged them. Also for some reason the forum won't let me upload any pics. I haven't done anything to the frame as I've yet to get all the parts so a shop can fix it. And I sure as hell don't want bad parts for a shop to work with.

You probably know this already, but the top of the fenders are bolted to the frame by three bolts: the first being towards the front, the second in the middle, and the third towards the windshield. Then there's a bolt behind the door and then two bolts behind the bottom trim piece. Everything except the where the first bolt towards the front bolts in, was not affected and should fit an oem fender on there perfectly without bolting in the first bolt.

The aftermarket fenders I have align just barely with all the unaffected holes and require a lot of force to get them installed. And then the gaps are not even. On the passenger side, the gap between the fender and the door is like 1.5 times wider than oem which you can easily see in. And it isn't flush with the door; you run your fingers across it and you'll hit the door, but the bottom corner towards the door sticks out. Also the crease that runs along the side of the car, the fender's crease is noticeably lower. The driver side's gap between the fender and door is alright, but where the fender meets the pillar of the windshield, the fender sits lower and it's noticeably uneven. It's kind of hard to explain without pics.

I reinstalled the original fenders and they fit perfectly, but the front of both of them are messed up a little. Which is why I'm wondering if they can be bent back into position by a shop.

Actually here's a link to another forum where it shows pics of the original fenders' problems: https://www.autobody101.com/forums/v...25036&start=20
