Default my first civic with abs

im doing my brakes myself...need to be done now......my car has the abs light on....once in a while the pedal goes to the floor....ive already unplugged all abs fuses but the light is still on?? and nothing really changed..people were saying once you unplug the abs itll act like "normal brakes" you might have to pump them in case of sudden stop??...anyway i finally got the $$ to do this....so im wondering if anyone can tell me if theres anything i need to do thats not normal here...i dont want abs...so im not interested in fixing it.....i was even told(thinking its a scam for more $$) that the front rotors are pressed on???...im mildly disabled so i dont want to get into this then have someone else have to finish it for me. Furthermore im very capable and have owned at least 20+ hondas but only had a prelude(94) that had abs...and it was all new so i had no issues...but all the rest of them were basic brakes(non-abs) so i just need tips and whether or not im in no need to worry..lol...thank you very much...new on here so im having difficulty gettin around sorry

The rotors aren't pressed on. They do frequently rust on, but that's nothing a 5 pound mallet can't fix.

Read the rules, fill in the required and missing information, and then jumper the service connector and pull the flash codes.

the light stays on when ABS isn't working, so if you want the tires to be able to lock up expect the light to stay on.

check for leaks, too. master cylinder seal, the rubber brake lines, the calipers, etc.
