Default Momo horn retainer ring won't fit Works Bell hub

My steering wheel won't bolt flush on the hub because the horn retainer ring has a thick "ridge" that doesn't fit inside the Works Bell hub.

What horn retainer ring are you guys using for a Momo wheel on a WB hub?

Car is a 1996 civic ex

Sorry, I'm still all stock steering wheels in both my civics. I am of no help beyond acknowledging your troubles.

Did the hub come with a retainer ring?

Lol thanks for the bump tomcat

Hub didn't come with a ring. I originally didn't want to blindly buy a ring, wait a week for it to get here and then it maybe not work. But since no one seems to know I guess I'll have to buy a couple to try out

I think Evasive Motorsports sells the Works Bell Hubs, give them a call and ask.

I ran into the same issue with my Momo steering horn retainer and NRG hub, but the horn button work with the NRG ring which is just a split piece of aluminum tubing that is wedged inside
the hub.
