How to take off rear transmission mount? Pic inside
Hi guys,
Working on engine swap on my 91 civic ef D15b1. I have got the engine out. I am trying to take off the rear transmission mount. I took off the two bolts that are so obvious, then I realized there's a third bolt hidden very deep... How do you usually go to take off the third bolt?
The mount looks like its in pretty good condition. My other mounts all have minor crack...But this one hold up pretty good.... Since I am going to buy a entire engine mounts kit,., I would like to replace every mount...
Ebay engine mount trustworthy?

no no do not do all of that extra work
what ive done and it works pretty much every time
i grab my 3 pound hammer and hit the side of the mount turning it so you can now get your socket in there
and option two
i only had to do this option once becouse option one almost always works
is to go to sears and buy a 14mm swival socket
it should cost about 8 bucks and that will also work
trust me i know exactly what your talking about

I took it off this morning by runing a 3/8 extension and a universal joint close to the side of firewall... It took some time but finally worked~
