Default 91 sedan jerk around 1500 rpm

Wife bought a 91 sedan a while back with a dohc zc just replaced timing belt idles good drives good except for there's a slight jerk in 1st around 1500 happens for a split second. If you ease into the gas slowly doesn't seem to be there any ideas?

Could be the IACV or FITV. Could also be a dirty fuel filter. One last suggestion, could just be because its first gear which tends to be jerky at low speed.

The FITV is the fast idle thermo valve. It should be located on the underside of the throttle body. Does your car have any weird idling problems?

Did you check the fuel filter?

Could be a timing issue then.

It would be retarded. You could also inspect your spark plugs. Is your cap and rotor in good shape?
