i have a 99 ex and when i shift into 3rd and let off the clutch it just grinds hard and spits it right out. When it started it would just scrape into third but would stay in. later if i let off the gas it would almost immediately kick it out. Then i would eventually have to rev before i down shifted into third or it would just grind it out. Now it just wont take at all and grinds away.

Any idea what this could be? ive heard bad synchro and/or bad shift fork.

 

If it's only third gear, then your synchro is fucked to ****. If it were the fork, it would have problems in two gears.
