I have a K&N typhoon air intake for my 02 Honda Civic Si Hatch


And was wondering if any companies make a box that would go around it. K&N doesn't offer anything and I'm sucking up water on really rainy days. Any suggestions? Do I just need to build one?

 

did you try the hydro shield cover?
Still won't prevent from big puddles but will help.

It's a big downfall to cold air intakes but just try to not drive as much in big storms or aim for puddles

 

That ain't no cold air intake. If you're afraid of water try Mugen or Comptech boxes.

 

i have the same air intake on my car and completely dislike it. switched out the filter once, deep cleaned pipe and filter once. still having issues with it.
