honestly it just ok tbh... apart from it being cool it doesn't really serve much as most of the stuff it's showing you don't really need to know that information unless you have a check engine light.

I can see all that stuff from my Hondata and a little more. If it was able to show oil temp and oil pressure that would be great! But you would need to figure out how this scanner will be picking up that information...

Also if you have Hondata with bluetooth you get pretty much all this stuff too with some of the Hondata features on iOS or Android phones.

No, I have a Scangauge though. I only bought it because at the time OBD2 code tools were almost as much, might as well get some extra features.

I've never heard of that before. I went to their site and it appears to be windows based and primarily for data logging and tunning. I Did not see the real time smartphone based equivalent. And the products I did see are many times more expensive.

I'm interested in it to see real time fuel gauges such as
Instantaneous MPG
Average MPG
Gallons/hr
Time to Empty
Distance to empty.
etc.
As will as engine/transmission parameters:
Coolant Temp
Intake Temp
Transmission temp
Fuel Pressure
Barometric Pressure
Ambient Air Temp
Oil Temp
etc.

What I like about it, is I can look at all these parameters at once in real time, no scrolling through some screen that displays one parameter at a time.

I plan to use an older unused phone an mount it on or in the dash as a permanent addition.

I have essentially committed to purchase it in my mind....I just have not actually done it yet. Not sure why I'm waiting

Look again it's not Windows based you just didn't look closely! The tuning software is Windows based but the mobile version is iOS and Android friendly. As well as you don't have to use Hondata Mobile app you can use other was such as Torque and other ones...

It depends what you want to do with your car... but most people have Hondata Flashpro and use those specific features also.

The Hondata stuff was too expensive.
I pulled the trigger on the UltraGauge Blue.
Hope to have it in a few days.

The reason why the Hondata stuff is expensive is because you can fine tune your car to perform much better then stock.

Again it all depends on what you have planned to do with your car.

Still wasn't a bad purchase as it will give you what you are looking for!
