So i just completed this swap using obd2a - obd1 jumper harness, stock y8 engine harness, and obd2 b20 injectors. I did the iacv mod, converted obd2 dizzy wiring to obd1 plug to use obd1 dizzy. I am getting strong spark at the sparkplug wires and fuel is getting delivered, computer doesn't sense anything wrong as there is no cel while ignition on and cranking. Everything seems golden, but car won't start. Engine and ecu came from a donor car that i purchased for swap ran strong prior pulling and did compression test on engine, read 240psi across. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

 

Did you hook up all your engine grounds?

Did you check timing?

 

ground i'm sure, timing, didnt take off timing belt as it was still new when i bought the engine. so timing should be good

 

Never assume. Check it.
