I'm new to this Honda Civic community and recently, my uncle has handed his 96 Honda Civic dx Sedan over to me and I have no clue on what exhaust to put onto the car, atm I have the stocked exhaust and I'm just looking for something more deep and loud not that rice fart **** sound exhaust. I Also need some opinion on what header to get as well because I was planning to get a skunk2 Exhaust but the alpha header looks like it's not gonna fit in the car. I was wondering if I can use a different kind of header for the skunk2 exhaust.

 

your car has cat on manifold. if you want to use a header, you will need to buy a catalytic converter for a 96-00 civic ex. fyi- an exhaust on a stock civic doesn't do anything but make noise and add to the bling factor. if you're good with that, proceed.

 

The FAQ sticky exists for a reason - read it. Forget about Junk2.

 

Just get a Yonaka Catback and enjoy that sound. The header is not going to make a difference.

 

+1 on the yonaka catback. Mine sounds very good coupled to an LS-VTEC, no rasp or fart can sound.

 

All I did was use the Sticky Thread and the search option.
