Hi there!
My name's Paige. Ive had a standard 92 honda civic cx for 5 years now which I love dearly. It has around 210 000 km. About two weeks ago I was driving to college and I noticed a really strong smell of burning oil. I had decided that I was going to check it out after coming home from school but I didnt make it.
On my way home my car stopped working as i was turning in an intersection. Turns out my spark plug chambers were filled with oil!
Once i got it home, I cleaned the chambers, drained the old oil and added new oil to the car and it still didnt start.
Since then Ive replaced all the gaskets for the engine, the spark plugs and the distributor but still no spark.
Ive checked the coil and the control modular which turn out good. However, the triggers do not.
I'm a 20 year college student so I'm looking for a cheap reliable fix. Any help is really appreciated!
Thank you!
