Lately my hatch has been giving me a werid problem at normal acceleration when I hit about 20-30kph the car bogs down and loses all power and seems to almost die but then a few seconds after it comes back to life and surges with power again.
Now I talked to my friend who had some fuel problems with his car and he said change the filter. I brought it into work today and had one of the guys help me change the filter and we also got new NGK spark plugs from the dealership because he said that might be the cause too. I drove it around the block and it happened again. Since it was late I headed home, it didn't happen again o the drive home and I won't drive the car until tomorrow.
The guy who helpped me is a licensed mechanic who has experience with Hondas, he said it might be the TPS or Map sensors or maybe even the ignition wires.

What do you guys think? Anyone else have this problem before?

 

honda fuel filters are good for about 120k...
could be a map sensor problem.

 

could also be a weak fuel pump
check your fuel pressure

Also not sure if this has anything to do with it but my a/f ratio gauge doesn't work, I've checked all the wires and everything is fine. It only works sometimes what's up?
