Default Mpfi swap, intake/ecu compatability

Picked up an intake manifold on a 91 hatch, got it home as realized it didn't have a fast idle port. I have been told by other members it's probably an EG generation manifold. My question is, would it still work with the 90/91 pm6 ecu? Or would I need a different manifold/ecu combo?

it will work...but if it is an obd1 manifold your obd0 throttle body wont fit.

The intake I have came with a throttle body, TPS, injector rail, intake temp sensor. The only parts it was missing were IACV, injectors, and fuel hoses.

The main difference is the placement of the MAP sensor. From the factory yours should be on the firewall. If the throttle body that came with the intake manifold has the MAP sensor on top, simply remove your existing connector on the firewall mounted MAP sensor and plug into the new throttle body mounted MAP sensor.
