ok, so last week I found this 92 si hatch for a few hundred dollars less then 300, went and checked it out.
It needs to replace hood, 2 fenders, windshield, bumpers, headlights.
Also needs to fix the front frame, it kinda got pushed in a bit from the left.
also engine have 173k and it doesn't run, no compression.

so i did my calculation, it would come to be around 3k to bring it back with a few mods and a B16A2.

What do you think? Should I get this or should I wait and find a decent one?

 

i would other than the front body looks good make sure that frame isnt too bad

 

id get it and just buy used body parts to make it car looking and fix the frame damage then get a swap drive it and make more money for a good paint job then sell it on ebay for 6000 and start over

 

a few hundred dollars = 300.00. And you said less than 300? So, does that mean free, or very close to? I would be all over that guy for even one thousand.

I'd go to $2500. Places around here want $3000 for that swap with 50k on it. I 'd get the car too. Junk yard for body parts, Honda Auto Body for the frame, paint it, drop your DOHC, and go!!!!!
