Default Body damage?

Well, pretty much a newbie here and was planning on buying a G2. The one I was looking into needs slight body work (bonnet, or hood), right fender, and a small rust spot fixed. Other than that, items like a new axle, battery, and small other stuff need to be replaced. The guy was offering me a good deal for it as well so hopefully its for sale in about 3 weeks. But heres my question. Ive been doing searches on prices and I was wondering how much (ball park figure) we are looking at here for the body parts, painting (if not body colour) and the fixing of the small quarter size rust spot?? Fenders were going between 80-120 a piece. Hoods, a bit more. And headlights for cheap. But, whats a ball park figure to get it back in good order??

Thanks. By the way, located in Maryland, so if anyone has an idea of what labor cost on something like that would go for around here, would love to know.

Since you're in MD, a friend of mine has a shop that I could get you good prices on labor. He does paintmatching to factory colors. A complete factory-looking repaint would run you about $4k though, but it looks like the car was meant to be that way. I can personally vouch for his work as being top quality.

And if you want, since you're about 15 minutes away from me, I could come take a look at the car with you to kind of get a better idea for it.

Full body works?? Maybe not. But if he has a good deal on painting body parts, thats beautiful. I also have a few guys, but I like doing some reasearch before anything is done. Just one fender, and the bonnet which, if not bought body colored, will need to be painted.

The rust spot, well, its slightly bigger than a quarter size and it also has a small dent beneath the rust area. I dont think its a big deal. But that can be thrown in the mix as well.

If you want, I guess since I am a 'new' member, I dont think I can use IMs yet. But you can shoot me an email and we can talk more. I also have some pics to save you some trouble. Can drop me an email at silverchain98@yahoo.com .
Thanks.

I don't think you're trial anymore. I hate email, so IM me at xthephilx, or leave yours.

I'll talk to him about what the cost of a new fender and hood painted would be, along with rust removal.
