After my engine stopped without knowing why, I checked in the engine bay to see if I would see something abnormal. I saw this cable that was right on the alternator belt. It looks like one of the cable has been cut. Now, where is that cable going exactly (i know the end is at the bottom of the engine block)? Could this cause the problem of my engine not starting?
CKF sensor Is the only thing down there. That should have been clipped into the t belt cover, someone probably half-assed it back together at some point in its life and you inherited it. No MIL?
Yellow and red(black). Should the engine still start with something wrong to the CKF sensor&?
CFK sensor for sure, its common when people replace the oil pum they dont put the harnes back correctly with the bracket that holds the harnes tucked close to the engne block and the wires rub against the alternator belt and get shredded and cut which might have happened to you.
Im not sure if it will cause a no start issue i woud start with the basics fuel, spark, compression. Are you getting spark or does the engine turn over ect ect. Some things to check just in case is to check your timing belt for a ripped belt hopefully thats not the case, check the distributor rotor for a loose or broken rotor.
Should not cause a no start. Everything the ecu needs for engine position is in the distributor, the CKF is mainly for misfire detection. It should cause a MIL though.
