I'm new here and have an issue with my sons car. Hope someone can help. 2001 Honda Civic Dx. He bought an Ex engine with vtec. Both are identical other than vtec. Purchased the proper ECU and harness to match the engine. The only issue is that there are several plugs that do not match. We were able to match the oxygen sensors. But 4 others including the ones that go to trans do not have matching plugs. Also the wiring is colored different so we don't know which one to splice in from old non-vtec harness :/
In other words. We have no idea how to figure out which plug on new harness goes to "unplugged" sensors in engine bay.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. This car has been at this point for weeks and we can not find anyone to look at it.
