I just took out the engine and put a few new gaskets in, now its back in and wont restart. The clutch is in and the starter will click but wont turn over, the check engine light is also on but I don't have a reader. The batterys good and ive charged it multiple times, all connectors to starter good, I cant imagine it would be the solenoid, so what could it be? anybody have a guess on what the code is?

Third off, are you having a no-crank no-start, or a crank no-start? It sounds like you're having a no-crank no-start, but we need to be sure before we spend time diagnosing something that isn't your problem.

 

First things to check is: battery, starter solenoid and starter. Find a youtube video on how to diagnose a starter..there all the same basically so it doesn't have to be Honda specific.
If you're feeling gun-ho then remove your starter (solenoid attached) and battery and bring them in to Autozone for free testing.

 

no, hoss. on an engine reinstall with a no crank no start condition, first thing to check are grounds. even with any cel problem, the engine will still crank.
