my damn pro-drive gear wont fit!
DAMN IT...i was supposed to finish my build this week, but i cant w/out an oil pump! the outer gear fits perfect, but the inner one only goes half-way down and is really hard to turn, if i try to make it go in, it gets top the point where it wont turn at all and doesn't want to come out...i know im doing it right i got my helms, and i took out andd re-installed my stock one like 5 times to make sure...i guess ill have to wait 2 more weeks to put it together, unless anyone else has any ideas!
did they fit together when it was out of the housing? Did they rotate smoothly out of the housing? I'm thinking maybe they gave you a mis-matched pair of b18 and h22 gears
they fit outside of the houseing, it looks to the naked eye exactly the same as the stock one, but i think the lip is just slightly too big causeing it not to go down in and move freely

this isn't the first time i've heard of it not fitting. sometimes they dont machine it right. shocking but true. call them and have them send you another one.
I had the same thing happen with my h series gear last week. I called prodrive and they are aware of the problem. Evidently, they made the mold for the inner gear from a worn stock one so the clearances are not correct. Pretty intelligent.
Anyway, they said I could send back the gear and get a new one, but they can only refund money to the company I bought it from. I just went with a stock one as inline suggested.

i've been thinking, that doesn't make sense...if the mold was from a worn one wouldn't it be too small, mine is too big (thats what all the girls say too, lol)
