So im interested in getting a used ruckus and replacing the stock engine with a GY6. Is there any how to videos out there that provides step by step installation. Thanks,

Nope. This subforum is also garbage (extremely inactive). I highly suggest searching around TotalRuckus for your answers. Swapping a GY6 is not cheap. Expect to pay a couple thousand by the time you have it running. Then you have to deal with the 'reliability' of a GY6.

If you want a bored out GY6, PM me. I have a 177cc GY6 with a NCY big bore kit installed for sale.

 

GY6 is hardly worth the cost to upgrade. I had my GET hitting 46-48mph consistently with an intake, jet kit, exhaust, and tune. You don't need to go any faster considering freeways are illegal territory for a ruck around where I am.
