88 civic si hesitating
I did an mpfi swap on my d15b2 with a ps9 ecu. Then I found out my no1 injector wire was bad so I fixed it. Now all of my injectors are working. I pulled each spark plug wire and it bogs down like it should. But the problem is that it hesitates when I accelerate and my exhaust sputters and is black. I pulled my spark plugs to find no1 and no4 plugs were completely black and no2 and no3 were pinkish. It has a brand new dizzy with cap and rotor and all of my injectors work. What is going on?
Sorry for the confusion. I had a stock d15b2 in my 88 manual civic sedan. I did an mpfi swap initially with a ps9 but I recently got the right pm6 ecu. I have a code 14 for the iacv and a 16 for the fuel injector. I checked all of my injectors and they all have the right resistance. I double and triple checked my timing and it is perfect. I got a brand new distributor and it still did the same thing. Additionally, I have burned through half a tank of gas without driving more than 20 miles and I have no leaks. I can smell extremely rich exhaust. I am completely stumped. Any clues?
So i have been through everything with a haynes manual. I have checked the resistor box, main relay, compression, fuel pressure, etc. I have come to a stump. I am getting 13 volts at injectors 2 and 4 but .5 volts at 1 and 3. The funny thing about that is the haynes manual says that i am supposed to have between 0 and 2 volts not 12 or 13. I have 13 volts at all 4 injectors wires at the ecu, the resistor box has 6.2 ohms for each wire, and there is perfect continuity and resistance through every wire in between. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Changed the tps and it is getting the right voltages and resistance. Is there a ground under the dash that I don't know about. I rewired everything from the connectors to the injectors. Still getting the same voltage readings. Injector wires for 1 and 3 are the stock dpfi wires so they run through under the cluster. They only get .5 volts and make very little difference in rim when disconnected from the injector.
When you did the MPFI swap, did you use a new intake manifold gasket? Also, did you thoroughly clean the surfaces of the intake manifold and the engine block? When I did my swap originally I reused my gasket since it looked ok and was still flexible, since I had changed my DPFI intake manifold gasket 6 months prior, and the DPFI and MPFI gaskets were pretty much the same. I had bogging issues and my plugs were black. Also, black stuff was coming out of my exhaust, it was really running rich, and would barely go over 2,000 rpms. I changed my manifold gasket to a new one and the problem was solved. Been running on 2 years now.
