ATI Super Damper Removal? How to remove crank bolt?
Trying to remove the crank bolt off my ATI Super Damper, its extremely tight and won't come off even with an air impact. When I had the Honda crank pulley I had the special tool to hold the damper in place and get a large breaker bar on it.
Anyone ever have to remove the ATI Damper? How did you hold it in place?
I called ATI and they have no such wrench/tool, which I think is completely ridiculous.

Right but what I am asking is how do I hold the ATi damper in place and keep it from spinning.
Forgot mention I have already tried the breaker bar in gear and it did not work.

That's a thought, maybe it is time to upgrade my air impact. I have an old Snap-On but I don't know its max output. Have people had success with stronger air impacts?

I know this is an old post, but will the crank tool work with the ATI pulley? My timing is off and I don’t want to damage the valves if they aren’t damaged already.
Before buying a bigger impact, how can I lock down th crank?
