Default primary o2 sensor help

I have a 96 civic ex and I'm having trouble with finding my primary o2 sensor. I have dcs Header and and an aftermarket exhaust (not sure what kind because it was on the car when I bought it). I also can't find the connector plug for the o2 sensor. I was told it is on the exhaust manifold but there is no connector plug there. My friends 99 ex has both under the car. One before the cat and one after. I have one before my cat but nothing after. By what I heard the one directly under the shifter is the secondary o2. That is the only one I can see. Is there something I'm missing or don't know?

Nope, that's the connector you're looking for.

If you're only running one, and there's no check engine light, your car is more than likely OBD1 now.

So that's the primary and I don't have a secondary? The bulb has been removed from cel and oil pressure. I'm getting the bulbs today. I'm sure my cel will be on when I put the bulb in. Autozone said I have codes for primary and secondary o2 sensor. I plan on replacing the one under the shifter. Just don't want that one to go bad after replacing due to the other one not working

If I can't find the other o2 sensor can I get a odb2 yo odb1 jumper harness and get a different ecu then tune it to not worry about the other o2 sensor?

Important details are missing in the first post. Is the car stock except the header and exhaust? D16Y8 engine? What ECU?

I already stated I have a header instead of exhaust manifold. Also I can't even find the connector wire for the o2 sensor to plug into.

You're seeing two O2 sensors, so you're not missing anything.

But I am not seeing two. All I see is the one under the shifter. That one is the location for the secondary o2 sensor right? If so then I don't have a primary o2 sensor or can't find the sensor nor the plug from the wiring harness

I've been trying to upload pics but when I do, it disappears after my pic uploads 100% so I can't insert the pic.

The O2 sensor has 4 wires. When you describe wire colors, first state the main color followed by the stripe color, for example Blk/Wht. For one color wires, just the main color, for example Blk/Wht. Better yet, post pictures of the connectors and the attached wires.

Ok. I will send better pics of the sensor and connector when I get my car unpacked. I'm also in the process of moving.

As you can see I posted pics as your requested. Do you think you can give me some feedback. Also I believe I have found a spot for my primary o2 sensor to go on my header. Looks like there is a plug in there. Can you confirm that plug is where the primary o2 sensor goes? Bad pic but the plug is in the top left corner. Thanks

Also if that is for the primary O2 sensor do you think I should put it in and wire the o2 sensor straight to the ecu myself?

your best bet is a jumper harness and a P28.

I was already looking into that but wouldn't I still fail inspection?
