all this sohc talk has been mainly focused on the a6/b7, z6, and the y8... but what about the y7? from what ive heard, the y7 head is crap compared to the a6 head, and everyone keep saying to swap the y7 head with a y8, but i want to stay non-vtec.... is there any hope for the y7 head?

 

send an im to builthatch. he used to have pretty mean d16y7 setup with nos, but now has a y8 setup.

Turbo Y7 with a Y8 intake manifold...got all the parts laying around, just havent bothered to put em on yet...Ill let you know if I dont end up selling it all!!!

whats so good about y8 vs the y7??? can someone explain the differences n ****??and how much do y8 heads cost..and is it easy too swap out?

 

the y8 head is a vtec head, havent seen many for sale..
