JRSC on a b18c1 with 102k.......am I crazy?
I was planning on doing the same to mine last year with 110k on it. I talked to a rep at JR and they said as long as you do a compression test, and aleakdown test and they both come back fine.....
Also do the maintenance needed before you install it...ie: timing belt, water pump, tune up...

Not crazy at all. As long as the motor is healthy you shouldn't have a problem. Mine has 95k on it and I'm putting a turbo on this weekend. My compression is at around 210 for all 4..I'm not worried.
Advantages over B20/VTEC? More power for one. If you just want a fresh 2 liter motor, have your GSR block sleeved to 2l. Depending on the seriousness of the buildup, you would come out cheaper this way too.

would i see a decent power gain with the new sleeves, and some good pistons? Could i use the crv crank in the b18c1 block?
thanks for all the great info!
