IAT Dependent Ignition Retard - What do you guys do?
I'm using Neptune and getting really close to having a good street tune done.
As I understand it, the "High Load Ignition Tables" under the IAT section take an Ign. retard value at a given IAT to retard high load ignition as IAT's rise for safety against potential knock. What values do you guys throw in there to retard timing as the IATs climb?
I just tossed in 3.25 deg retard for 140 IAT as a guess, and scaled up from there as the IATs would climb. I figure that between 105 and 140 I will get some slight retard and so on.
Any good starting points or is this ok? Thanks.
