Default ED7 Si Build up

Hey guys,

I am building up my 90 civic EF SI. It will be a slow build... I have had many honda's over the years. EG 4 doors, Del Sol, CD7, EP3, FG2, EK. I used to be on here as VTEC Is YOUR Best Friend years ago. This is my first time doing a ground up build. I have always wanted a EF Si and God granted me favor to obtain one. It came with a swap in it. JDM B18C with a cable trans. Whoever had the car before didn't take care of it. It does have pretty mint interior besides a couple missing interior pieces that I am obtaining as time goes. I am in the process of gutting the shell and going to paint the inside and out, re-coat the under-body with paint. My father in law has a rotisserie which I will use to flip it over to paint it. My plans are to fully restore this EF to prestine condition with OEM, JDM, Quality parts only.

Some of the pictures when I Got it and where I am at through the build process.

Progress: Pulled the motor

I have everything placed in baggies and using a label maker for each thing. Very helpful.

Removed the interior.

That car looked gorgeous in the photos! I'd go sunburst yellow myself. I think yellow has always been a good 4th gen civic color. I'm also quite partial to the factory red you have there.

Anyone know what these are called and how I can get more of these? There is also a 3rd type which is a push kind that has a small loop on it....

No clue where they came from, hard to tell you what they are or where you can get them. I buy parts online from Majestic Honda often and have had good luck with them.

That looks like my 55 yo wifes ride just before a ho hit me and totalled it. I am just sick, want to sell it? Need a clean, straight, no rust shell for the B16 and other new stuff I have put into it in the last few years.
Regards
Dave

I'd stick with the red. Si's never feel like si's when they are a different color.

Looks like a nice clean shell.

I would leave it stock color for restoration purposes.

About an hour. I used dry ice. Was fairly easy to do.
