I am trying to replace the ignition locking cylinder for my 93 Del Sol but all of the aftermarket versions pins are to big. I am almost ready to drill out the hole to make it better but I am not sure that is a good idea, any suggestions?

if you have the $ buy a new lock cylnder with key from JY or ebay. ones for your car and plug it in. but your key would be dif from your door locks..unless you swapped tt too.
as far as lock like steering lock? you can drill or punch out the big round brass colored lock part. pry it out and this spring and clip fall out. it wont lock any more (steering wheel) easier to steal the car but iv always removed mine on every honda

 

<p>New ignitions can be sourced through rock auto. Picked one up for an Integra. Not a difficult swap.&nbsp;</p><p>Also if worried about the key being the same take the new tumbler to a lock smith so they can change it to match.</p>
