Koni yellow and gc help
Have the koni yellow and gc setup, need help figuring it out because I got the gc sleeves and springs from a friend. I tried installing them on my koni yellows and I must've installed them wrong because my car is still at stock height and it's maxed out to the down level. I don't know if I put the springs in the wrong area since they are different heights. I also still have those collars that the springs sit on still I didn't know if those need to come out that's why I left them on. If anyone can help me that would be a big help
Wait, you left the spring perches on the koni yellows?? GC sleeves go on without those perches and bear on the koni circlips.
You may already be aware but worth a mention that you have to use koni specific GC sleeves that have a machined lip that encapsulates the koni circlip....otherwise you risk failing the circlip.

I can't get a pic of my setup till the weekend, but yeah the collars are still on. I didn't check if the sleeves I got have that machined lip. But if I don't have the machines lip does that mean the gc won't work?

Did you buy ground controls specifically meant for Koni yellow shocks?
There are about a million pictures and threads on the internet about properly installing these parts.

You can call ground control and get the right sleeves for koni yellows. Its not safe to drive them around sitting on those cups. The cups are meant for springs...not sleeves.

Alright gonna try give them a call. But I think I'm gonna take them apart and see if it has that machine lip first, because it came off another integra but just different struts

So even if they have a machined lip...they need to be the right diameter and lip to fit Koni Yellows.
x2, if they came from different SHOCKS, then they wont fit koni's properly. IMHO, in the OP's defense, Ground Control does a terrible job showing this distinction on their website.

You need what is shown in this thread, which also shows the parts you DON'T use with a proper Koni/GC install:
