emissions problems - have the diagnostic report - what do i do?
here is my emissions test diagnostic report:
this is on a stock '90 civic dx hatch. what i noticed is that later in the test, and when my speed was up, the levels dropped to below acceptable. so....what do i do to pass?
if i moved things up and swapped in the d16z6 before i need to retest on the 27th, would that do it?

Try replacing your plugs, oxygen sensor, and maybe retarding your timing. Your car should pass emissions. If I could pass emissions with my old d16z6 turbo w/ a free flow cat, you should have no problem passing. Something emissions equipment on your car is out of whack because you aren't any where near the legal limit on most of those charts.

i would, but my dx is throttle body injection, so if i unplug an injector, i lose 2 cylinders.
unplug 1 of your injectors. instant 1/4th of the emissions...
The the o2 sensor would see all that extra oxygen, so the ECU would richen up the mixture and the CO would go up. It would probably reduce the NOX readings though.

i'm sorry i don't know how to read what the information means that they give you, but how old is your cat? my DX failed twice, so i thought it'd be a good time to swap in the ZC. finished the swap and it still failed another 3 times. ended being i just needed a new cat. passed well under the allowances.
