Intake air temperature sensor and air filter question
So I was replacing my starter and had to take the air filter off. I forgot what connects where. Does that tube go into the air filter? Or does it go to the sensor?
that is the IAT. Since you didnt htink it mattered what car or engine im going to guess you have a 96-00 civic and a b series swap as well as an intake that is NOT for a 96-00 civici. it should be in the intake tube since that is where it is designed to be. you may need to gut the proper bushing and drill your intake tube to put it in correctly, or splice a new plug and use the iat in the manifold if it is there.

youll need to drill a hole then pick up a grommet for a pvc system at the parts store like so

Should look like this when you're done

Do any places sell that grommet? Sorry I know this thread is old. But I have a k&n intake with a small hole for the iat and no grommet. I also have a skunk2 IM with an iat on it. Is it just easier if I cap the intake off and splice and extend my iat to the IM? Thanks
