P72 OBD1, ECU check out?
So I recently bought a 94 Integra GSR. B18C1 Vtec OBD1 5spd car.
Before I bought it, I noticed a wire cut from a harness. Asked a good friend of mine and he said it was a oil pressure wire and it's often cut and plugged when the ECU is chipped/modified.
Now that I got the original codes off the ECU (bad map sensor throwing codes for that, injectors and knock sensor) and fixed/cleared I get the solid no blink CEL when I scan. That is the only one that comes up.
I am now coming to you guys for help. Anyone super familiar with the P72 ECU may be able to spot any modifications but I am not sure what I am looking for.
I attached a photo of the ECU guts. If something seems modified it'd explain the ECU CEL, but the car did have a lot of water inside the trunk and carpets through out the entire interior. looking at the pins I need to clean a couple of them up before reinstalling anyhow.

I am no pro ECU repair guy, but I can tell you with 100% certainty it's not chipped. It doesn't appear to have any capacitors leaking or anything burnt that I can see from the picture provided.
I would feel confident in saying that it is absolutely not common to cut the oil pressure sensor wire. At least I have never seen or heard of it. Sounds a lot more shady than anything.
I hate to say it, but it definitely sounds like you got a flood car that will always be riddled with problems. It may be better to just cut your losses, but obviously that choice is up to you.

you need to diagnose wiring, your ecu is fine. PS it's not chipped, that's a stock P72. by the sound of it, you're not getting power to the injectors from the yel/blk terminal block OR your main relay is bad. Also either your TPS and MAP sensors are plugged in backwards or you don't have a good ground on the thermostat. If there are ANY splices or exposed wires on the engine harness, I would strongly recommend NOT trying to **** with it and just buy one that isn't hacked up unless you enjoy spending endless hours learning Honda wiring from scratch.
hi, i encounter solid cel no blink was when the ecu wasnt wired correctly. i have chipped a couple of p28 and p27 ecu which looks alot like the ecu that you have except that yours have a knock board. and it seems to me there is no modification done on that ecu. correct me if im wrong but i remember that solid cell comes out even if there is no ecu plugged in. you might also want to check your capacitors for leaks, using a cotton swab. thats how i discovered mine has started leaking.
