hi fellas, this is isnt a problem i have but a question i have,
i want a clear and red tail light, just like the one in this photo, is it possible to make it by DYI? i was trying to take it apart and i noticed that the upper reflective section is actually red plastic, does that mean a NO to my project? thanks

 

ok, so in case someone else is wondering, the top reflective part, cannot be converted to white, sin the plastic is color red, so i guess thats some special lense and not a DIY

 

Your photo isn't working...

If it's anything like the 96/97 taillight though you can break apart the orange reflector piece in the other part and pull it out the socket hole.

Ah, you cannot remove the top red portion.

If I had to guess, those are the 100% clear ones with the red tinted VHT spray or red tint on the bottom half.
