hey, can anyone here tell me for certain what i need to keep power steering in my GSR swap on my 93 civic lx? i would love to keep it. I have searched and keep finding everything from new ps pump to stock ps pump but b series bracket

 

i mainly just need to know what brackets i need.

 

has no one ever had a b series eg with power steering?

 

Well since no one has an answer. I went ahead and purchased a gsr upper and lower mount and I have a reman b series power pump on order. I will first try my stock d series pump and if that doesn't work I will switch over to the b series and see if this combo works.

 

Don't bother with the civic SOHC pump... it won't work unless you are using a NON VTEC DOHC engine. Since you stated GSR swap in your post title, I am assuming that is what you have in the car. You will need a GSR P/S pump that has a high pressure hose inlet that matches your line in the car and the appropriate brackets that match it.

 

Ok thanks a bunch. I currently have the power steering pump that I ordered for a 94 gsr, I have a p72 bracket headed my way and yes I do have a gsr engine In my car. I will look at it all this Sunday and hopefully make it all work. And my car is a 93 lx if that makes any difference in fittings.
