Trying to decide what size Fuel Injectors to use on my set up.
Hey everyone,
I'll start with motor info first 1997 Civic LX with frankenstein GSR head on a b16b block, no internal work done as far as I know. 3" short ram KnN filter into a 70mm skunk 2 throttle body and matched 70 mm Skunk 2 Manifold. Going to use a AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator. Currently on OEM CTR ECU , but I already have a chipped p28 waiting to get tuned after injectors go on.
I'm trying decide what size injectors would be good for my setup , any opinions or previous experiences appreciated. I'm still using the obd2 harness , and I already bought the obd 2 to obd 1 injector jumper harness.
let me know if I'm missing any info you guys need and thanks in advance.

So its pretty much a stock b16. I say stock 240cc injectors. If you want better atomization from the rdx410s like ^ dude said and have the money then do that. I wouldn't go bigger than that though. Its still a stock 1.6.
Sorry for late replay at work, I think 800 cc might be too much bro I'm not going turbo gonna run it N/A.
Yea 410 is in the ball park, anyone have tried some by experience with a b16 and a bigger throttle body and intake?
Yea it's pretty much stock b16 with bolt ons , but since I'm using a 70 mm throttle body and manifold I think the stocks aren't enough, I feel my car lacking some response , like it's getting too much air and not making power out of it that's why I thought to use some bigger injectors, or it might just need a tune. Im Not sure if thats right, that's why I'm here on the forums, correct me if I'm wrong guys I'm still like 2 years new to the game.

I believe OP said it was a B16B block, so CTR. Not a b16a. Im running deatschwerks 420s on my gsrblock/b16head setup. Had CTR pistons in it for awhile and those injectors were a little overkill, no more the 69-70% duty cycle after it was tuned (no power numbers, was street tuned on crome pro) base fuel pressure was stock 45psi with walboro 255lph fuel pump, stock fuel filter, aem rail and reg.
Anything over stock would suffice your build. I know plenty of guys with similar setups to yours who run 310cc RC injectors without running into any issues. That being said, the rdx injectors are always a good choice because of their optimal sray pattern.

Thanks guys didn't even know about those rdx410 being compatible with b series, , I've been reading on them and they do sound like a good option for a n/a build gonna see what deal I can get on then.

You can find kits as a whole for the best price. Injectors, top hats, o-rings and jumper harness for around $250 if I remember right.
Have the tuner reduce the duty cycle or adjust the fpr. Its not the increased size that makes these really bang for the buck; its the micron size, spray pattern, etc.
Smaller fuel droplets= better atomization= more power/less fuel consumption.
Yea i seen those kits on ebay with pigtail connectors and hat adapters they look good.
Are any of you guys familiar with GP Sorenson brand injectors? I looked at one from Autozone and it's in a bag labeled "made in japan", the injector looks new and has Denso printed on the injector as if it was OEM ? They're only 40$ with warranty so I'm not sure if they are reman...

Yes I have seen them for that as well. Clubbed Industries can make the adapters if you cant find a complete kit.

Nice I've been reading a lot of good things about these injectors, I'm gonna try out that psi see how it runs br thanks!
We'll I get a good discount at Autozone so they actually come out alot cheaper only thing was throwing me off is it looks OEM, so I want to know if they are reman or new. Just wondering if anyone here knew about that brand GP sorenson.
I've been around Hondas for a decent amount of time and have not heard of anyone running GP sorenson. Sounds like a cheaper "OEM Alternative" parts brand IMO. Typically I try to shy away from anything the general public stores push, especially when they can get you a killer deal. In the car world you have to pay for horsepower.
Fast, cheap, reliable...pick 2
Edit: after a quick search they seem to be an OEM replacement part company. The injectors you get will be comparable to stock and will most likely not be performance oriented. Stock replacement standard duty.

Yea that's what I thought a cheap company, but what threw me off is the actual injector man. It says made in japan , and it looks new. It has Denso printed on it so can it be oem? Lol here's some pics.
Looks exactly like an RDX...only way to tell would be to test the flow characteristics and spray patterns to see how they compare
Denso is a very large car parts company in Japan so wouldn't be hard to imagine they sublet/contract out to other companies to make parts for them to their standards and allow their name to be printed on it...just look at car batteries...theres 50+ "brands" but actually like only 3-4 manufactures that create them to whatever spec the brand request but here instead its one brand with a couple of different suppliers of the parts

User name here and other forums is HiProfile. I'm using the 365s on my daily project and am really happy with them. The car idles better and I picked up a couple of mpg's over stock obd1 injectors. I'd like to do some hi pressure testing and see if I can get more out of them, I just don't really have the time/facilities to work on stuff right now.
His injector sets come with adapter plugs and are priced very aggressively compared to the big name ones.

Edit: I run a parts house, and I may order some of those in to check out for my daily build lol.
One problem with parts house injectors though... You're going to have to be able to figure out the latency numbers on your own. They're not going to be published for an off the shelf injector.
Pretty sure it would be the same as the OEM, since they are designed to be a drop in replacement. Wouldn't make sense for it to be any different. Plus, that being a Denso unit, is probably made right along side the OEM units and just sold to GP Sorenson/BWD/Whoever to repackage as their own. This happens far more often than people think like the Airtex pump that's actually a Walbro 255HP in the box.
