just got done throwing together a tranny for my dd b20z em1. its really just a 92-93 cable ls trans in a hydro case. I replaced the axle input and shift rod seals, cleaned up the hubs and slider, put some new syncro rings In and new diff bearings which are shimmed to about .005-.006 best I could do with my parts. anyway the pass axle wobbles a bit where it goes in. its not leaking fluid or anything but I worry over time it will. any tips or fixes or am I worried over nothing. the axle is locked in nice with the c clip and not in danger of popping out...
As you know, a little wiggle is normal, but its hard to say how much. 5 different people could have different opinions. Is it an oem axle and diff?

oem diff. the axle is an autozone lifetime. i have a few sets of axles so i tried another one i think may be an old oem one and it was actually looser and had some oil weep out from around the seal.
In for this
Threw some axles on and 2 months later im getting the same play on pass side too. I almost think my problem was installer error, but I heard the pop and the axle sat flush ughhh

bleh, im getting a bit of vibration on the highway which gets worse when im in neutral or not on the gas so im thinking its that axle. anything i can do here? is there a way to shim the axles or anything to make it tighter in the diff housing itself and not in the splines on the gears..
