Hello. I have a 93 delsol si. d16z6. I was thinking the other day to myself and I realized my cooling fan never turns on. I let my car heat up at idle for 30mins and still nothing.

I Jumped the connector to the coolant temp switch and the fan ran fine.

I read to get a new temp sensor/switch so I did and it still didn't work.
Now today looking around I found this random plug not plugged in and 2 wires coming off of it.

Could this be my problem or have anything to do with my fan not working?

 

Go drive around, sit idle for 30 minutes is nothing.

 

Sorry to not clarify. I drive my car all the time long distances and short. It still doesn't turn on. lol

 

If you jump the thermostat fan plug and the fan came on, and you replace the thermostat fan switch, than you probably have air in the system.

 

I was originally thinking that But I have bleed the coolant. I'll bleed it again for ***** and giggles. But it hasn't worked sense I got the car. Could those wires or plugs be anything.

 

So when you jump the thermostat fan switch did the fans come on or not.

You don't mention how you bled the cooling system, so we can't know whether it was done properly.

Engine overheating?
