Default b7/z6 Mini me

I am doing a mini me swap to my 93 civic lx.it has a full z6 swap now but spun a rod bearing.picked up a b7 bottom end for cheap and I am putting my z6 head on it.I was wondering which cam gear I need to use,I've read that you use the z6 gear but also heard I need an adjustable cam gear because it will be half a tooth off on timing.I will be using the z6 head gasket and head bolts, the b7 water pump and tensioner.will I need the z6 or adjustable cam gear.thanks in advance guys

Info is easily found if you would put some effort into searching. B7 and Z6 share the exact same cam gear. Use a Y7/8 cam gear or use an adjustable cam gear.

Have also heard it is best to use the y8 head gasket with that combo. But cam gears should be the same from what I have read.

When reading through the FAQ Z6/B7 minime the write up seemed to stick with the stock Z6 cam gear.

https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...oodbye-554053/

I remember the Y8/B7 recommending a cam gear swap or adjustable but could have sworn you didn't change out the gear on the Z6 minime.
