Headlight washer switch location
Heya. I have a 99 Civic LX, but this is more of a general question for all 6G Civics.
The very rare, and probably expensive, headlight washer setup has to have a switch (obviously). But I looked online to see what it looked like. I know what it looks like now, but I can't tell what dash slot it would occupy, from the factory.
It looks like it would either go where the cruise control/dash lights brightness controller is, or the center console. If it does go in the center console, this may be a mod I'll want to do.
Thank ya kindly.

^ True. You could put it where the dome light is, if you want. Or on the rear parcel shelf. However, the more convenient OEM location is where the cruise switch is. However, since the dash lights brightness controller is more or less useless, I'd suggest putting it there instead if you don't have a switch blank.
Good luck on your headlight washer kit hunt, OP.

Oh, I know it could really go anywhere, but I tend to like OEM places better.
Thanks. I just might make it out of various non-Civic or non-OEM parts, and have it on the OEM switch (to keep cost down). My actual DLBC is behind the dash, and the one that is visible is hooked up to LED lighting under the front seats (pretty much underdash lighting but for the rear). It's being used as a potentiometer, because I didn't want the rear seat's LEDs to be as bright, and I wanted the brightness to be adjustable. But I digress.
I don't really ever turn my Cruise control main switch off, so I could just stuff it behind the dash as well. Or, I found out that the CB Accord has a switch for the HL washers that would go into the Civic center console. So very many options.
I'll figure out where I want to put it, sorry if I was a bother.
