Just got my b20Vtec in and running. Went to check over everything and noticed my headlights will not turn on nor will my cluster lights (won't light up cluster if headlights are turned to on position). The individual lights in the cluster like battery, door open, oil and all that come on but you can't see your speed, rpm and stuff in the dark. The brake lights work, turn signals work and even my high beams work. Tried checking fuses, grounds but cannot figure it out. It's like half my **** is working.

 

Bump. Going to try a new dimmer switch today. Checked fuse in engine bay and it was good. Checked fuses under dash and they seemed good too. Only thing i can think of is that dimmer switch or the stalk controller on the steering wheel that may be bad. What way to test if those are bad besides replacing?

 

you said brake lights and turn signals, but do your regular taillights work at all?

 

No my running lights in the back don't. But my brake lights, turn signals, hazards, and brights all work.
