California Emmissions?
I have a 2004 Honda Accord that had an engine code calling for the #2 oxygen sensor replacement. After checking under the hood to confirm this was a California emission systems car (the new car window sticker also said 50 state emission) I ordered the denso 234-4363 sensor. After removing the old sensor, I discovered that the new one was 3 inches short (39 inches vs the 42 inches for the non California cars). I called the dealer who said my vin indicated my car was not a 50 state car. What gives?
I also submitted my vin to your site and got volumes of info on specs and details, but no mention of its emission standard. Can you help? Is it advisable to post my vin here?
