2012 Honda Accord V6 - Brake fluid bleed and change
Hi!
I have 38.5K miles and I need to change brake fluid. So I downloaded and read Service Manual section 19-9 "Brake System Bleeding".
Everything seems to be clear, but my question is - do I have to worry about ABS and VSA? I heard that when you have VSA then changing brake fluid can be tricky. You have to turn ignition on or so. Also how can (and should I) replace fluid in ABS circuit? Maybe it was about different cars...
I can't find any mentions about doing anything with VSA/ABS while changing brake fluid, so before I start I need to clarify that questions.
Thank you.

I did small research and I think you don't have to bleed ABS etc. Just 4 circuits and that's it.
The sequence for bleeding is: Front Left (Driver's) Side -> Front Right Side -> Rear Right Side -> Rear Left Side.

You are right. In my Brickell Motors (it's Honda dealership) they say that the Brake system flush should be done at 60K and 120K miles.
But it seems my car doesn't stop quickly. Maybe it only seems to stop slowly. My brake pads still have some meat on them, so I thought it's good idea to flash fluid. And by doing this I'll remind myself how to do it.
Actually I was going to do it tomorrow on Saturday.

Re: 2012 Honda Accord V6 - Brake fluid bleed and change
Thanks!
I already changed brake fluid, but it was a bit pain, because I did it alone and I didn't have vacuum tools to suck old fluid. I had a cheap tool - tubing with magnetic bottle. So it took a while.
I think investing in expensive tools just for changing brake fluid every 2-3 years is a waste of money.
Next time I'll ask someone for help or make my own simple tool to suck old fluid out of valve.
