97 accord A/C Probs!!
1997 honda accord lx
Air is blowing cool, not cold
Compressor is engaging, I have perfect amount of refrigerant in the system,I juiced it up today at work with the ac machine.
Only concern I have is that the high side pressure was 300-350! Way too high, though the low side was normal sitting at 40-50 lbs.
What would cause this?

Was the system opened to atmoshpere prior to charging? Did you replace the drier/filter? Get chart...to check against ambient temp vs pressures...sounds like both are high...possibly overcharged. Either this or your condensor needs replaced...not transferring enough heat(Assuming your fans are working properly). Or could be your expansion valve is stuck open.
It was about 90 degrees, both fans are working, I was thinking about cleaning the condenser and no the system wasn't open any time soon, all ac parts are original on car
I have access to alldata online, the vehicle take 1.425 or 23 ounces. That's what I put in there after a vacuum and all.
I bought a compressor, expansion valve, and receiver drier, and also going to clean the condenser out tonight and see where that goes. I'll update y'all

I forgot to mention I'm replacing the compressor because it's at the point of almost locking up( horrible grinding/whining noise when clutch engages), receiver drier because I'm opening the system and plus it's a factory one, and expansion valve because it was only 20 bucks.

You cant clean a honda condensor, theyre double pass. But theyre cheap to replace. If youre going this far, Id just replace it. The expansion valve...I wouldnt replace that until I know that it is bad. In fact, I would replace the compressor, condensor...and drier. then clean out teh evaporator and all other lines. Vacuum down for an hour, then let it sit for at least an hour...make sure no loss of vacuum. Charge and thengive it a shot. if no go...then suspect the expansion valve. Also, dont forget to add new PAG to compressor, drier and the condensor...should you choose to replace it.
Thanks for the advice tim! Here's what I did.
I replaced the receiver drier, compressor, expansion valve and service port valves(one was leaking) I should of went with condenser also but didn't.
I put pag oil in everything I replaced and now the low side line is freezing cold when running ac in car which it never did before and that's a good thing. I also flushed out every line in the ac system, flushed out the evaporator core and condenser. If I have to replace the condenser or if y'all recommend it let me know.
I STILL have no cold air!!!!! The lines are getting cold going into the evaporator, there is no blockage in the lines, compressor is running perfect, I have the right amount of refrigirant.
So what next? Please help

Rockycat I manually pulled it shut just to make sure.
Update-
Car cools to 55 degrees at idle( 8:00 at night, roughly 78 degrees ambient)
Car cools to 40 degrees driving(9:00 at night roughly 75 degrees ambient )
Cleaning fins on condenser tomorrow with water I'll post temperatures also.

40 while driving isnt too bad. 55 is a lil high, especially at 78 ambient. But these arent TOO terrible temps. Anyway, if the compressor was bad and it let loose of any crap...the condensor is plugged. Id give it a few days...keep the thermo in the vent...and watch it...ive seen AC systems get better. They seem to settle out and get better.
Yes you're right tim, but that was at night too. I agree with the condenser being stopped up.
Update
I've been monitoring the temp from the vents and mid day about 1 in afternoon 100 degrees out, car in park also, it's blowing about 65 degrees
Same day, same time, driving at 45mph it only cooled still to about 55 degrees.
I went home and ran some water through the condenser fins and got it cooled down real good and had my girlfriend watch the temp in the vents and it got to 45 degrees in park. I drove it straight after that and it cooled to 40 degrees in the vents but the longer I drove it and the condenser got hot it slowly went back up to 55 degrees
