I have contacted Brian (B18_powered_si) but he does not have any of the 4.785 tranny's and will not be getting any for a couple of months. So I am wondering if any of you guys have any, or know where i can one. I need it soon too will have the money like next week.

I wish he had one he is a good guy and I would buy it. But he said that the supply is not there right now. I checked on getting a 4.40 from him and then doing the 4.785 FD upgrade but just the 4.785 gears are like 400 then it is at the cheapest 150-450 installed for the kit. So i am trying to find an alternative.

dont play games with the 4.785,

get the ATS 4.929 along with a 97 jdm spec tranny. that will be a beautiful setup

Its a little scary with having a $3000 dollar transmission setup when you add in labor, flywheel, clutch and a different 5th gear if you are going to go that route...

 

I think 4.929 might be a little to high of a gear for me. I want a fast take off but to still have 135 plus on top end

I checked there they show to have the final drive itself but I didnt see anything on the actual tranny.

 

the ATS with a 8500RPM rev limiter hits more than 135.

 

You should try and contact them though, I heard they have excellent service and most likely could get it for you.
