What's the best tranny fluid to use??
I've tested them all, for endurance racing, most of the guys I build trannys for use the Redline Shockproof oil. For extended periods of heat and abuse it seems to keep everything in check. For street cars it's hard to beat the OEM Honda MTF, I do use the Amsoil MTF from time to time if it's available but it is more costly. Royal purple synchromax seems to dissolve carbon synchros so I do not recommend it in a transmission that is modified with carbon parts, stock brass is okay. Basic rule for me is if you have brass synchros, doesn't matter what it is you can use conventional oil/fluid, if you have carbon or kevlar parts or anything high performance you should use a synthetic fluid.
Yeah, forgot about Torco, the MTF is good for the street but the RTF is the only fluid recommended by MFactory for their products and it does work well. I don't bring it in often as I have to buy it by the case and it's expensive.

I'm not sure about the RTF but I used to buy the MTF from East Coast Performance up here in Miramichi and you could by it by the 1L bottle. It comes from Lenco Trans.
