So I have a 1994 civic eg hatch with a jdm b18c block and a 99 b16 head and my rpms won't go over 3k. When I first start it I can redline all the way then when they come back down they won't go past 3k. My check engine light is on and it gave me the code for fuel injectors so I took a look at them and they spit fuel as they normally would. What can this be??

 

What exactly is the code?

 

Well I did it without a scanner so it gave me 1 long flash then 6 flashes after that

 

You have a wiring problem, then.

After a hard pull, when the car won't rev past 3k, use a voltmeter to check each injector. One wire should have constant 12v, and the other wire should have a pulsing ground to the ECU. What wiring harness are you using? What ECU? Chipped? Did you do anything with any wires during the swap?

 

Yeah my friend actually rewired all 4 injectors because they wouldn't plug and play with the harness but we took a look at them and they all seemed to be making good contact also I have a P28 Chipped and tuned so I know it's not the ecu but we may take another look at the wiring thanks man much appreciated
